São Paulo’s Parque da Luz will host the 14th 3M Art Show this Saturday (27). The free exhibition brings together site-specific works by six Brazilian artists under the theme “Biomorphs: The Reinvention of Being”, curated by Ana Carolina Ralston.

Among the participants is artist Ayrson Heráclito, presenting three stainless-steel sculptures from his acclaimed “Juntó” series, accompanied by drawings and poems exploring the combinations among 16 orixás. The works merge ancestral tradition and Afrofuturism, expanding on his research currently on view at the gallery in his solo show “Oríkì Ìwòran”, curated by Lisette Lagnado.

Set in the gardens and historic spaces of Parque da Luz, the 14th 3M Art Show anticipates the bicentennial celebrations of the venue and runs through October 26. Also participating are artists Leandra Espírito Santo, Leandro Lima, Licida Vidal, Luiz Zerbini e Rafa Bqueer.
