AUTOCLAVE is the title of a collaborative project whose result reflects the dialogue between the artists Gabriel Secchin and Victor Mattina. The exchange period of approximately one year is, in fact, the intensification of a long and continuous process of mutual empathy, both personally and professionally. Exclusively for this individual exhibition by Secchin, Mattina collaborated in the textual and conceptual creation of the project.

According to Gabriel, the origin of the concept of the exhibition derives from the perception that the possibility of disorientation, upon coming into contact with his work, is not restricted to the spectator. His own bewilderment, resulting from the exercise of researching and mending voluminous verbal and visual threads, led him to also take into consideration the resulting effects of a disconcerting juxtaposition of images.¹
